We are an Independent Baptist Church
How can we know that a church is a true New Testament Church? It is important to understand that we identify a true New Testament church by its doctrine. Does our doctrine come from the Word of God? or does it come from man?
We are distinct in our doctrine by the following truths we find revealed in Scripture by using the acrostic BAPTISTS:

Believers Baptism Only, by Immersion Only
Our Lord Jesus Christ clearly gave this command to the church to baptize those who come to Christ by faith. We understand that baptism is a biblical mandate given to the local church.
Matthew 28:19, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
The Word of God teaches that only those who believe or receive can legitimately go through the waters of baptism. When one is baptized it is a public testimony of their identity with Christ and His local church on earth. Baptism does not give grace to the sinner. Ephesians 2:8-9 declares, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast."
Acts 2:41, "Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls."
Acts 8:12, 36-39, "But when they believed Philip peaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women."
"And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him."
Furthermore, we understand baptism to be by immersion. The word "baptized" means "to plunge, to dunk, to immerse." Therefore we reject "sprinkling of infants" who have no capacity to understand the Word of God. We reject the practice of sprinkling as unbiblical.
Matthew 3:13-16, "Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water..."
