faithful men's retreat
Faithful men are desperately needed in our homes, churches, and society. God is seeking for faithful men who will stand in the gap and make up the hedge. (Ezekiel 22:30) Every man is given a journal to take notes and make life changing decisions for the glory of God. This annual Faithful Men's Retreat offers men the opportunity to be refreshed by the fellowship with other Christian men, and to be challenged by the teaching and preaching of God's Word. The retreat is held on the Promised Land Campground in Conestoga, PA and hosted by Capitol Baptist Church and pastor T.H. Moore.

Marriage Matters Conference
God instituted and established the home in Genesis 2:24 long before there was sin or the law. Marriage matters to the Lord. Marriage should matter to us. The marriage relationship is pictured in the love that Christ has for the church. One of the best things you can do for your marriage is to take some time away to let your mate know they matter to you. Your investment in your marriage relationship through this conference will pay dividends for years to come. People from every walk of life and in every stage of life will be attending this conference. This annual conference is held at the Hershey Lodge and is hosted by Pastor Caleb Bottrell (Hunt Valley Baptist Church in Hunt Valley, MD) & Pastor Chris Starr (Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Brogue, PA)

Help for the family conference
The first institution that God created was the family. God has designed marriage to be between one man and one woman. Through this divine union the man and woman have the ability and responsibility to bring forth children. These children are properly called "the heritage of the Lord." This conference is intended to help the families of the church with the husband/wife relationship, as well as the parents/child relationship. The family institution is foundational for both the local church and society. The stability and prosperity of a society and a local church is determined by the strength of the family institution. Join us for this special conference as we strive to establish and strengthen our families according to the Word of God.

world mission conference
Jesus Christ gave the local church a clear command saying, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." (Matthew 28:19-20) In our Annual World Mission Conference we endeavor to renew our burden, and strengthen our resolve to reach the world with the saving gospel of Jesus Christ. Join us as we meet new missionaries, renew our commitment to support our current missionaries, and fervently pray for the Lord to send more labourers into the harvest. We look forward to begin our Mission Conference with an International Mission Banquet & prayer meeting.

bible conference
First State Baptist Church hosts an Annual Bible Conference with an emphasis on Bible preaching and teaching. Paul instructed Timothy to "Preach the Word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." (2 Timothy 4:2) It is imperative for the local church to have an awakening back to God's Holy Word. Every year a number of faithful Bible preachers are invited by our pastor to deliver biblical sermons for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. In a world that is increasingly devoid of the truth, believers must be established in the Scriptures. Join us for a wonderful time of preaching, worship, praise, and fellowship.
